chapter
posted on 2024-10-30, 20:45 authored by Kevin Parker, William Davey
This chapter looks at the history of computers in the USA schools from a social history perspective. Instead of concentrating on innovations and leaders the story of mass adoption in schools is told. This history focuses on the 1980s when the major growth of student numbers and hours of contact with computers became a reality in American schools.
