chapter
posted on 2024-10-30, 20:20 authored by Iftekhar Ahmed, Esther Charlesworth
This chapter is about Development Workshop France's (DWF) work in disaster-prone Central Vietnam. Local interviews allowed understanding DWF' s efforts for building resilient housing with key stakeholders, highlighting that communities cannot be sustainable without safe housing. Generalisable lessons for agencies in Southeast Asia are thereby offered about building sustainable communities by reducing disaster risk.
