chapter
posted on 2024-10-30, 15:48 authored by Sandra JonesSandra Jones
This chapter presents an overview of various forms that the employment relationship may take, the different perspectives from which to analyse and assess these relationships and the various cultural factors that affect the employment relationship. The information draws on explanations and practice of industrial relations, human resource management, knowledge management, conflict management and social justice. In so doing, the interrelated issues of social justice and the future role of unions in relation to the employment relationship as business globalizes are explored.
