Global mobility: Interfacing through public art

chapter

Mobility, fluidity, interactivity are words that sum up the global world of today. As students, artists, educators we are part of this new condition of practice whereby we move inexorably from place to place, idea to idea, product to product, as streets, walls, parks or city centres, art projects that work in response to public environments. Ultimately I intend to make a case for public art as a way of interfacing in the public domain and at the same time show how language to language, work to work, difference can be activated without and so on
