The aim of this research is to explore the application of biopolysaccharide chitosan for the purpose of incorporating fragrance oil into automotive fabrics and its antimicrobial properties relevant to automotive interior textiles. Chitosan was selected for this study for its film forming ability and inherent antimicrobial attributes.
