There is broad agreement among educators on the value of creativity in education. It is a process that could facilitate the maximization of students’ performance and assist in achieving educational objectives as they are defined by curricula around the world. In this study teachers’ views on the implementation of creative activities in primary and secondary Greek schools were investigated. Two hundred and forty-three primary and secondary teachers and principals participated in the study. It was found that Greek teachers have positive views on the use of creative activities in their classrooms. Using factor analytic and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) techniques, it was found that teachers with 1–10 years of experience, primary teachers, female teachers and teachers with a Master’s degree valued learning and teaching contributions to crea- tivity, the incorporation of creative activities in teaching practice and teaching strategies and instructional approaches for the enhancement of creativity, more than any other teacher categories.
