posted on 2024-11-01, 02:06 authored by Melody Devries, Judith BessantJudith Bessant, Robert WattsRobert Watts
This chapter offers an account of the various ways technologies are implicated in politics of the far right. Attention is also given to the problems associated with technological deterministic thinking that is often used to frame and explain far-right recruitment and mobilisation . Consideration is also given to the ways scholarship in the field identifies contemporary far-right politics as as a social movement and a political entity.
