This paper discusses a postgraduate course that involved a combination of online and face-to-face learning, and virtual visiting professors. Included in the experience were participants from the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The broad objectives of the course structure were robust, providing participants with fertile ground upon which inter-university collaborative interactions among postgraduates in higher education, as well as interaction between these students, their lecturers, and expert theorists in the field of social constructionism could occur. How learning between these participants might come about, in an online environment, is the focus of our paper.
