Building better hyperspectral datasets: The fundamental role of metadata protocols in hyperspectral field campaigns

Hyperspectral data exchange is becoming increasingly prolific in the international remote sensing community for cataloguing and mining data from a variety of sensors. Coupled with the growing volume of hyperspectral data being disseminated is the need for a standard method for successfully integrating a broad range of campaigns and data formats.
