Phi Phi Islands, are one of Thailand's most prominent natural beauty areas. The larger of the two islands, Phi Phi Don, is the main tourist area, with hotels, accommodation, and nightlife, while the smaller island Phi Phi Lei is completely devoted to a nature reserve. The Phi Phi Hotel Group owns four of the many hotels located on Phi Phi Don. These hotels include the P.P. Palmtree Resort, P.P. Casita, Phi Phi Banyan Villa, and the Phi Phi Hotel. These hotels are located in different areas of Phi Phi Don, offering experiences from the pier side fun of the Phi Phi Hotel to the quiet position of the P.P. Casita in Loh Dalum, which offers an escape from the city. The Phi Phi Hotel Group is planning to expand, but the company has identified problems that should be resolved prior to expansion. One of the biggest problems is a high turnover rate of staff, with estimated turnover of 15% to 35% per year among frontline staff (depending on the department and hotel). Phi Phi Hotel Group managers have identified high turnover rates as a cost center due to constant hiring and training and lower satisfaction levels.
