Despite the risk of injury while participating in sport the costs associated with rehabilitation, sports related exercise offers huge health and well being benefits to participating in the community. The everchanging nature of sports and the desire to play sports in many different climactic conditions, has led to sports being played on synthetic surfaces in place of natural surfaces
