Snowboarding is a highly weather dependent sport, where riders may be exposed to considerable changes in on-snow temperature within a short period of time. Not only will the snow conditions be markedly altered, but anecdotal evidence has indicated that the actual performance of a snowboard will also be affected by a change in temperature depending on its structure.
