Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems have been integrated in industrial warehouses for parts transferring processes as the way to increase automation level of the warehouses. The major challenge of the existing solutions is the traffic management when multiple AGVs are in-use applied to the existing warehouse layout. AGV traffic control system with an anti-collision path planning algorithm can significantly increase the efficiency of the part transferring process in the warehouse. This paper proposes a novel traffic control algorithm for the solution with able to operate on the limited computational resources, which are presented on the low-cost AGV systems.
