conference contribution
posted on 2024-10-30, 18:38 authored by Fang Zhao
This paper explores key issues and challenges facing e-entrepreneurship and e-innovation through case studies. The case studies draw mainly upon interviews with senior managers of the case companies and documentary research of the companies¿ publications. One of the key issues facing e-entrepreneurship and e-innovation today, as demonstrated by the case studies in this paper is that ebusiness needs to respond closely to market needs and gain market credibility. Another key issue is that there should be credibility built within the e-business marketplace before inception of the business. In addition, the intangibility of an online service needs to be addressed in order to build brand awareness. The discussion of the issues as such provides readers with both theoretical and practical guideline for a further study.
