Modelling information flows enable us to understand organisational communication and manage dynamics of business functions. LINQ is a new technique for modelling organisational information flows. Our previous work has showed that the technique can capture the dynamics of information flows. However, there is still a need to facilitate LINQ with formulations of business rules. Fulfilling this gap, the current study extends LINQ with the norm analysis method. The norm analysis defines business rules, conditions and constrains for controlling information flows. The extended LINQ has been applied to a real case study for demonstration purposes. The obtained results suggest that the extended technique enables analysists to model information flows and accommodate conditional business rules.
