Performance of Logistics Services Providers in Vietnam: An Exploratory Study

The role of Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) is crucial to the functioning of an efficient global supply chain. The recent growth in Vietnam's import-export market bringsopportunities and challenges to both local and international LSPs in providing logisticsservices in Vietnam. This study aims to explore the current state of LSPs in Vietnam byexamining the performance of the three categories of LSPs, which are the state-owned,foreign joint venture, and private enterprises using a performance evaluation indexsystem consisting of nine groups of indicators. The triangulation of data collection isutilised to gain a holistic understanding of these LSP categories.
