Photoinduced high-Q cavities in chalcogenide photonic crystals

We present a first demonstration of a high-Q (∼60000) photonic crystal (PhC) cavity formed post-fabrication by locally modifying the refractive index of a PhC made of a photosensitive chalcogenide glass.
