Poly(lactic acid) based single composites

This research was aimed to prepare the poly(lactic acid)(PLA), based single composites. The plasticized PLA matrix has been reinforced with Ingeoä PLA fibres. Effects of processing temperature, fibre content and size on the mechanical properties and morphology of the composites were investigated. The composite was processed using a cast-film extrusion technique.
