One of the major objectives of international business education is to develop the capacity of students for high-level analysis of international and trans-national trade and management strategy in the context of globalisation. The use of online education in conjunction with other modes of teaching and learning has been approved as a good form of education delivery. However, factors such as institutional, cultural, or pedagogical are reported as key factors influencing students¿ online engagement. The fundamental question remains unanswered is to what extent can international business (as an area of study) encourage (or weaken) the online engagement among students of diverse backgrounds. This paper reports the key qualitative conceptions from the semi-structured personal interviews with six international business students regarding their level of engagement in online international business education. It also discusses the potential impacts of various factors on diverse students¿ engagement in international business online education
