This study presents a gender-based investigation of the determinants for information sharing in open learner model-based collaborative learning. Structural equation modelling is used for analysing the survey data to explore the relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust and the information sharing intention of learners. The results reveal that all three factors have a significant impact on learners' information sharing intention. There is a significant gender difference on the perceived ease of use for information sharing. Such findings are useful for better understanding the adoption of open learner models to improve information sharing in collaborative learning.
