Acupuncture for treating fibromyalgia (Protocol)

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The review aims to determine whether real acupuncture is more efficacious than other treatments in patients with FM. The following comparisons will be made. 1. Real acupuncture versus non-acupuncture treatment (e.g. wait list or drug therapy). 2. Real acupuncture versus placebo or sham acupuncture. 3. Real acupuncture versus standard or usual care (e.g. physiotherapy or exercise). 4. A particular style of acupuncture versus another.
