The impact force time history of structures subjected to intense dynamic loading is one of the most important parameters measured. It is difficult to measure the contact force directly. In order to overcome the difficulties, the inverse analysis has been developed during recent years. This paper presents the application of the inverse analysis to the dynamic response test of pressure pipeline subjected to intense dynamic loading laterally. The transfer function h(t) is given by using computer simulation. The experimental data is justified, and more accuracy impact force history is obtained.
