This paper presents tactics for enculturating interdisciplinary collaboration in beginning architecture design studios as a necessary approach for addressing the complexities of the 21st century. Interdisciplinary collaboration enables critical and creative solutions for addressing future scenarios, and architecture schools must play a key role in preparing graduates for work in interdisciplinary teams. The six tactics outlined in this paper support a pedagogical model of collaboration between architecture and allied disciplines in RMIT University's School of Architecture and Urban Design, aiming to prepare architecture students to become the architects needed to address an increasingly complex future.
