In this work, the novel H2 gas sensor based on polyaniline/diamond composite nanofibers thin film deposited on a ZnO/64° LiNbO3 surface acoustic wave (SAW) transducer has been developed. The film was deposited using drop-casting method. The morphology of the composite was characterised using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). It was observed that the nanofibers have average diameter of 50 nm and broad peaks were observed at 2? ~ 16° and 44° in the X-ray diffraction pattern. The sensor dynamic and static performance were presented. A response of more than 750 kHz towards 1% of H2 gas was measured and fast response and recovery of 12 s and 180 s, respectively were observed.
