Groundwater models and salinity risk assessment

journal contribution
posted on 2024-11-01, 02:41 authored by David Fraser, Paul Lamble
This paper discusses models and their application to the study of groundwater movement in irrigation districts. Mathematical models are the most prevalent in groundwater investigations and these can be separated into functional and physical models. The discussion of groundwater models is based on how such models can be used to represent salinity risk. Key aspects of four studies have been compared in relation to the types of models chosen and the requirements for the models.
