In the present paper, the dispersion curve of guided modes in a cubic Ni–Mn–Ga thin plate is studied. Exceptional dispersion behavior is reported, with multiple crossings between antisymmetric (An) and symmetric (Sn) Lamb modes. In addition, several dispersion branches contain one or more zero group velocity (ZGV) points. The number of ZGV points per symmetric mode, Sn and per antisymmetric mode An, turns out be 3n-2.
