Innovative anti-counterfeiting materials have triggered extensive interest to improve the counterfeiting of the packaging market. To exploit anti-counterfeiting mechanically reliable composites, the engineering at both material and matrix is urgent to investigate. In this work, SrAl2O4:Eu2+@TPU (polyurethane) ultraviolet stimulated anti-counterfeiting film has been successfully fabricated via an electrospinning method. Subsequently, the morphology, structure, optical transmittance, and mechanical properties of the film were systematically characterized. The anti-counterfeiting film obtained by integrating the traditional SrAl2O4:Eu2+ phosphors and the thermoplastic material TPU is stretchable, flexible, and transparent. Not only can it not be noticed by the naked eye, but also does not affect the transparency of the film. Moreover, it also possesses a unique 1D nanostructure. As a new type of anti-counterfeiting material, the film will provide both first-line and second-line anti-counterfeiting functions and excellent anti-counterfeiting strength under ambient conditions. This work demonstrated a low-cost and effective way to prepare versatile, high mechanical strength and anti-counterfeiting film, creating outstanding market potential and significant economic and social value.
