Explores the way sources of union power intertwine with the opportunities provided by international framework agreements (IFAs), and the relevant literature on transnational unionism. Draws on an analysis of three case studies, and analyses the strengths and weaknesses of IFAs for union organization and action as instruments for the regulation of multinational companies (MNCs) and to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR).
