Through a problem-based learning approach small teams of students from the environmental programs at RMIT University have been gaining professional skills by undertaking a project in Vietnam. Three-years experience in running the project has provided us with data, through the students' reflections and feedback, to reflect on the value of the project approach, and the details of its organization. This feedback shows that the project has provided the students with confidence and skills, in project organization and teamwork, to prepare them to enter their environment profession.
