Using a sequence looking from D4 towards D7 the film overlays each layer at different scales.

The resulting effect exploits the clear linearity of the canal and cityscape in contrasts to the larger and bolder blocks of building that start to break the visual linearity down. Blurring focuses the eye on the far canal side.
