The work is a composite consisting of absract painting and photography it tests how a modestly scaled work can still address issues of duration,complexity through the use of a multiplicity of styles and media. The work functions by engaging with issues of representation and manifestation through abstraction and photography whilst engaging the viewer in an awareness of their own processes of perceiving in present time and place. By being situated with other Australian and Taiwanese artists it contibutes to both a transcultural and intercultural discourses The work was curated by Shiau -Peng Chen and Meng-Shu You and contextualised through reproduction in catalogue.
