Selected prints from the North South folio were exhibited in the Exchange exhibition at the RMIT School of Art Gallery from 5 October to 15 October 2010 to celebrate and feature 20 years of international print exchanges.
North South was set up to address a theme and a broad selection of print media in order to reflect on complex contemporary social connections and disconnects between Ireland and Australia. A written introduction complements the folio of prints. This is the first documented Australian Irish print exchange. The project is also intended to benchmark international printmaking pedagogy at tertiary institutions. The prints are housed in the RMIT printmaking collection for future research.
