The Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) recognise the importance of environental issues and their potential impact on the Department's operations, infrastructure and educational facilities. This report undertakes a literature review that explores national and international standards and design guidelines on thermal comfort, indoor air quality (IAQ) and ventilation for P-12 educational facilities and examines the relationship between educational outcomes for the P-12 group and thermal environment and IAQ.
