report
posted on 2024-10-30, 19:30 authored by Victor Kane
Driven by the efforts of Taiwan's Central Government and many non-state actors including the public stock exchanges, industry associations, and international organizations focusing on sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Taiwan has received increased attention and recognition in the business community. The study findings contained herein provide a glimpse into the current state and possible future trends of CSR based on the views and perceptions of the study participants who include representatives from publicly listed companies, private companies, NGOs, industry associations, and academic institutions. The key findings and insights presented in the study are based on a review of the literature and research, the results of an online survey, and qualitative analysis of comments from a series of interviews with corporate executives/managers at leading companies, industry associations, and NGOs in Taiwan.
