Governance Institute of Australia has collaborated with CSIRO’s Data61 to compile the report: Digital Trust — Corporate awareness and attitudes to consumer data. Risks to brand and reputation from mishandling data, a disconnect between IT leaders and business executives, and difficulty in putting a value on data have been identified in the report as key data governance concerns for corporate Australia. As part of the research component for the report, we conducted a survey seeking insights into the views of corporate Australia regarding the trust and distrust consumers place in organisations that handle their data.
