Remembering, Honouring and Acknowledging Former Residents of Good Shepherd Homes: An Oral History Research Study

This report presents the findings of research commissioned by Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (GSANZ) that analysed first hand accounts of the experiences of people who lived in Good Shepherd residential institutions in an effort to better respond to former residents of Homes and hostels. The research sought to answer two research questions, as determined by GSANZ - What were the experiences of former residents in Good Shepherd institutions? - How can these experiences inform how former care providers acknowledge and respond to former residents?
