The GP E-learning/M-learning (GEM) project sought to evaluate the feasibility of e-learning collaboration in the Australian GP education and training community. Arising from a perceived need within the sector for increased collaboration around e-learning among regional training providers (RTPs), the project investigated ways in which to encourage increased sustainability and reuse of e-learning resources, tools, and platforms. It is anticipated that increased collaboration and sharing will discourage duplication and redundancy, and promote consistency, quality, and sustainability in e-learning for GP registrars across the country.
