Almost a fairytale - the re-presentation of folktales in contemporary Norwegian culture

Through this research project I have investigated the influence of Norwegian folktales on the contemporary imaging of the natural environment. The project has resulted in a body of photographic work for exhibition. <br><br>Research investigations include the history and cultural significance of the folktales on traditional and contemporary Norwegian visual culture, specifically the role of the characters and their connections with the landscape.<br>
