Engaging objects

Dr Lavery’s research into his own design process finds ideas, emotions and engaging qualities in the objects which surround a project, waiting to be connected and expressed in his work. These findings articulate his process, contribute to an understanding of the ‘object’ in architecture and illustrate how architecture can engage.
